I was just accepted as part of the Late Night Stampers Design Team. Yeah! What fun to try to help inspire others to make fun creations using their Stampin' Up products. Here is the first challenge that I have had time to play along with in a long time. Here is the initial sketch.
I wanted to use my new level one hostess set, Patterned Pines. This awesome set is from the Holiday mini catalog.
When I stamped the main image it was too large for a standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. So, I went with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card
Hopefully you can see the very faint vertical lines on the card front. I made those by scoring the cardstock with my scoring blade. It adds a nice effect.
While I was looking at the finished card, I thought it would work very nicely as a mat for a photo or even as a journaling box, due to it's large size. So, I tried one as photo frame.
Having this nice element, then inspired me to make a scrapbook page to go with it. On the scrapbook page, I used the large snowflake stamp to make my own background design by randomly stamping all over the cardstock. I stamped each image a few times before reinking.
I hope you enjoyed. Please feel free to leave a comment. Or, contact me directly if you need help in placing an order.
